We headed off to a local garden centre with lunch in mind. We enjoyed browsing around the garden centre but the lunch options did not tempt us. After paying our respects to Her Majesty we drove to Wightwick Manor only to find that the car park was closed because it was full.

As 2015 comes to a close and we herald 2016, I am once again wondering where all the time has gone. It seems like only 5 minutes since I was reflecting on 2014.

On the penultimate day of the year I found time to spend the afternoon at Wightwick Manor.  Only the lower rooms of the house were open, but they were still decked out for Christmas.  On arrival at Wightwick it was time for lunch and I treated myself to a home made scone in the tea [...]

Wightwick Manor is the perfect choice half because of it’s half-timbered construction. This particular view shows the entrance into the house but you can see other views on my previous Blog post.
