In some ways it reminds me of my sitting room. It has a bay window and the glass panes look similar and I can curl up in the chair to read my book and glance out into the garden and see the oak tree blowing in the breeze.

Judging by the size of some of the books in the book case you would need to rest them on a table. But yes I usually like to curl up in a chair to read too

I am glad you enjoyed the visit I have been quite lucky with being able to take photographs inside houses recently. They seem to be relaxing the rules a bit.

I was thinking the same thing as Claudia, but the chairs don’t look very comfortable!
…………….I must be getting old, I’ve just noticed I keep commenting on the comfort, or lack of it, of various bits of furniture

Thank you so much for taking us on this visit. It is so unusual that you have been allowed to take photos. I have really enjoyed it. There are so many of these wonderful houses in the UK.
