Interesting, have not come across this place.

It is local to me and visit often. The bothy is in the process of being developed in much the same way the walled garden is.

Much more swish and civilised than what we would call a Bothy up here in Scotland. That looks like a fine house to me. But in comparison to the main house… well yes, I suppose.

    • CherryPie says:

It is quite a fine (all be it small) house. What is a Bothy like in Scotland?

      • Andrew S says:

Very small, stone walls, earth floor, a roof, maybe a bench or two for stranded walkers to sit or sleep on (these days, formerly primitive homes)… that’s about it. Maybe a fireplace and chimney too, if you’re lucky.

Ahh… This one is quite small but it has stone floors and brick walls a fireplace (two if I remember rightly) and a chimney…

  3. That’s quite a bothy!

That’s certainly a nook to savour and relax in.
