There are some cheesy Bond puns in there linking the film to the past. But I don't think you have to be a Bond fan to enjoy this one, it is a good action movie. I mean, you can't have lived and not seen at least some of these films. And I listened to this and thought: hmm, I've heard this before, too many times. And then Adele sings and adds a whole new dimension. I do love that voice. Maybe I should go to see the film, just to hear her sing. But then again, what will I do on Christmas Day for the next five years when it's all that is on offer. Maybe I can wait. I've seen every Bond movie (as everyone else has), and loved them all. The last 3 have been a "step up" from earlier ones. Daniel Craig makes an excellent 007 and the stories have had a little more substance to them. I loved the way they brought in things from the past, from "Bond, James Bond, stirred martinis, to the amazing Aston Martin. Adele does an amazing job on the song too.
