There are quicker routes up to that part of the world (for me) but by preference I always choose to add the extra half an hour to the journey and travel along it. On this occasion it was only a detour. Mr C was driving and we reverted back to the quick route home which was probably best as severe weather was forecast! I am very fond of that road.
