I LOVED Diana and thought she did wonderful charitable work. She was very compassionate and loving. I think she ,like anyone in the public eye, learn to use the media to their advantage and to that end she accomplished even more good-like bringing global attention to landmines, Aids etc.

I think she was treated terribly,even despicably, by the royals. As a result, she probably suffered depression and anxiety. She worked with what she had and for the most part she exuded class and decorum. There will never be another.

I had a feeling you weren’t keen on Kate.

Now a confession from me… I wasn’t keen on Diana, in the later years. She played up to the media and allowed them to use her. (a discussion point because I know we are seeing things differently )

As to the wearing of another’s ring…

My wedding ring was previously worn by my paternal grandmother (it was my dads idea to use the ring).

After my maternal grandmother passed away my mum had her own and her mothers wedding ring melted down to form a new wedding ring.

I am not keen on her,to be honest,but will keep an open mind.

I do think she has a lot of pressure on her as she is naturally compared to Diana and has hefty expectations heaped upon her. I think she has handled it well. I just felt that she waited so long for him that it almost seems like she had the eye on the throne at all costs. I admired Chelsea far more who didn’t hang around when she did not feel she was being respected.

I also really wish that Diana’s engagement ring wasn’t worn by another woman.

It’s a great way to capture the Royal`s Cherie… the image turned out quite fine… i like your soft treatment of the framing….peter:)
