This memorial is in the National Memorial Arboretum.

They also have a memorial at Dover beach.

I few years ago I visited the beach and one of the gentlemen I was with got into the museum free. He had served in WWII and it made his day

I have not been to Normandy yet.
I saw similar war memorials in Weymouth though.

The 6th of June is important and it was the start of the end of the war.
in 2010 we were at Normandy beach, very impressive.
