I did a 15-mile walk yesterday in Hampshire.
Came across a woodland managed by NT too.
It’s Selborne Common. Have you been there before?
Selborne is a very beautiful village.

There seemed to be more than one type in this field, all though I am not sure.

I expect they will be shorn, they usually are. That sounds like a fun day out at the sheep shearing

Sheep are such great animals. There are a lot of different ones and even these look different than the ones I saw in Dutchland.
Will they be shorn?? (Taken the wool off)
On second Pentecost day, Ginnie and I went to a fair where they showed it.

The lambs in particular were very cute. There was a third that had wandered off from Mum, following another family. When it didn’t return of its own accord she bleated to it quite forcefully for it to return to her.

i love your image of the countryside behind the sheep in the first shot Cherie… but i like the lambs most of all… 777 caught my attention right off the bat….peter:)
