It's about a suffragette who was quality Oxford Uni material that helped out in a place like this as a nurse during WW I. She didn't use it as an iron she used it for pressing meat. She also had one of those old fashioned mangles for pressing washing. It was interesting but it meant there were quite a lot of people there. I intend to go go back again when the rooms have been returned to normal.
