I went as a “jack in the box”, spent days making the thing work on elastic supports so as you pushed the box down you came up through the lid, don’t ask.

The problem was it could not be worn in the car so was put on in the street before walking to the house, fine so far, unfortunately there was no way I could get through the door and could not take apart as it would never go back together, so I went in with just the head and neck of a jack in the box and left the “engineering marvel” outside, it is probably still there !
