We have stayed in Lincoln twice, both times in the old town which is at the top of the hill. Both places we stayed in had car parks so we didn’t find car parking a problem on either occasion.

We almost got to Lincoln Cathedral next week but found booking hotel not easy at this late stage and parking sounded impossible. It’s on my list anyhow so glad to see the photos.

The gate reminded me a bit of Peterborough.
But the cathedral itself reminded me of Wells.
By far, I still think Lichfield Cathedral is the most impressive one for it’s just a little town.
