But even so it has improved greatly since my last visit many years ago. The animals are now housed in environments that meet their needs and they have many places to hide away, rather than be on public display all the time. The zoo focuses on conservation and breeding programs. I passed on your best wishes to Mr C :-) I couldn't possibly comment on a glass or two... Chester has always been a good zoo.
