I have been in a car when the fog was so thick you could seen the end of the car bonnet. I had to look out of the passenger side to make sure the car didn't stray to close to the hedge! I did not like driving in it a night, though, as idiots will insist on driving with their blinding rear fog lights on - they are only needed in daytime!
