The loo seat is a cheap plastic one replacing the previous loo seat that cracked in an alarming way whilst in use (thankfully not by me ;-)) just a couple of months ago. It was too long to wait for the new fittings so we had to have a temporary replacement... The room did have a warm feel about it, that is why I liked it :-) Photos can sometimes be deceptive. Having just recently had complete bathroom refit, it's nice to have a proper flushing loo again after 20+ years of sometimes having to re-attach the handle to the flushing mechanism at least twice a week!
