I have been watching Venus for weeks not knowing what it was until the last few days when newspaper articles have started to appear about its prominence in the night sky. I found some settings on my secondary camera that get a half decent photo of the night sky and other night scenes. Whenever I say look at that beautiful star he always immediately react with 'it's a planet'. He is technically correct but it rather spoils the moment of beauty in the sky ;-) I am so glad I had the opportunity to get a half decent photograph.
