It was possible to buy tickets for evening visits so that you could walk in the stone circle. I have had a quick glance on the EH site but can't see it at the moment. I am not sure which way I like it best, both types of sky give it a different atmosphere. In fact I am intrigued by the sky in these photos because it was a bright sunny day when we visited on this occasion. We walking around in shirtsleeves...
