Located in a really enviable spot, the 4-star Hotel Giordano is a villa of the early 19th century, just a few steps from the Duomo Square in the heart of Ravello.

Owned by the same family as Hotel Villa Maria, the Giordano is more modern, but not lacking in any of its charm. Antique furnishings, colourful majolica tiles from Vietri and well-placed paintings decorate the public areas, and the hotel maintains a comfortable and intimate atmosphere.

The Giordano’s lovely, large swimming pool is on a terrace, where breakfast can usually be taken, in fine weather.

Guests of Hotel Giordano can also enjoy the facilities at the nearby hotels, Villa Maria and Villa Eva, including a bar, boutique, cooking school and picturesque gardens where you can relax amongst century-old trees and enjoy views over the scenic Amalfi Coast.

It looks very grand. I’m always interested to see the bathroom in a hotel as that can tell a lot about the place. I see it has a bidet; they were are the rage for a while in the UK but seemed to be out of favour now.
