The signs of spring are becoming more prominent. I was even able to walk out today without a jacket. However, I don’t think we have seen the last of winter just yet…

I think you might be right about the last of winter, I feel there is a bit more in the air.

However, after taking these photographs I was able to sit out in the garden for a little while without a coat! It was quite refreshing :-)

No denying it, Cherry…even though we’re having another very cold spell coming up! After that…I think Spring might really be here to stay?

Having seen these on FB, it is good to see them again – every one so lovely

Dismal Desmond here, the Beast from the East is returning and no real sign of spring other than natures push against the elements.
This has been such a long cold and very wet winter that we are in real danger of catching the tail of our current one soon without a summer.
Proof in the fact that my wood store is twice as depleted as last year and if the new cold spell lasts I will be reduced to taking the axe to the furniture, sorry for the doom and gloom, I’ll get my coat, and keep it on !

We have got the Beast from the East today. It is very windy and the complete opposite of yesterday. Yesterday I sat out in the garden in the sunshine for a short while. There is no chance of that today.

here in the south of the Netherlands, it almost touched 17 last weekend and the sun came out, CP. but then Monday came, the sun went right back in and the forecast shows single digits once more. but you have cheerful images here!

I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I had hoped to go out and try for a better photograph of the snowdrops today. But there was no way I was going out in that wind crouching down to get an arty photo of them :-)

Spring will be there and I love your series. This weekend we get -7 again and snow….. it is going up and down..

Beautiful! Spring weather makes me so happy!

  9. Beautiful – it is so good to see signs of Spring. In the garden we have wild primroses and snowdrops in flower and frogs are spawning in the pond.

  10. No, no. You got it wrong.
First sign of spring is when you see Tesco putting out Easter eggs for sale. ;)

Next day the wind and the cold weather had returned.
