The bridges were a joy The blue one especially as it was the first time that it was open to enable me to walk across and enjoy the parkland beyond.

The presentation is a work in progress. The house has been reinterpreted with history. You have to have a timed ticket to get into Lichfields’ (former) private apartments. The National Trust have not go this par of the display right yet, we were not the only ones that were not told that we needed timed tickets to view that part of the property.

The access for walking around the grounds is WOW!

After watching the video link I find that Shugborough is not much like Osterley. However several other stately homes I have visited are very much like Osterley, especially the long gallery.

So odd this place reminded me so much of Osterley House!
I mean the layout of the house, lake and garden are so alike.
Have you been there yet?

PS: They filmed Batman there, yes the library scene there.
