This was a delightfully warm day in late spring. At that time we had no idea that there would be a prolonged summer, hotter than we have known for years. 1976 was the last time I remember such prolonged summer weather.

They look beautiful and indeed that was before we were all “baked”…

  3. I miss the green woodlands so much now!
    Every night is so muggy.

  4. Oh – beautiful, CP. I can almost SMELL it…

  5. So beautiful :) I love bluebells.

  6. Ha ha… I don’t like hot weather at all.
The funny part is I come from a tropical country, I should be able to take the heat better then most people here, right?!
    I am a winter person :)

When it gets this hot in England the heat is humid whereas in wider Europe when temperatures sore the heat is not so humid. I don’t suffer so much when the heat is on in wider Europe but it is still to hot for me, however I do not suffer with the same uncomfortable side effects (apart from the swelling of my feet).
