After almost a month the certificate for the completion of my 50 day walking challenge has come through.

I have now successfully completed my 50 day walking challenge where I aimed to walk at least 10,000 per day. There were only two days when I couldn’t achieve this. I had factored those days in and had steps in the bank to cover the shortfall. The two days were when I was travelling down south for a family gathering before we embarked on our travels in Chichester for a week.

You can be very proud of yourself, Cherry. Will you now continue the challenge just for the halibut?

Well done! We had something similar when I was working – the Workplace Challenge but it was a quarterly challenge from what i remember and encouraged each employer to compete against others. We did quite well at the Mad House – helped by my efforts of course. I still o at least 10K steps although I’ve missed a few days recently because of the appalling weather – far too hot on the south.

      Thank you :-)

I have missed steps in the last couple of weeks due to rearranging furniture for decorating. I think I got more of a work out doing that than I would have done walking my 10,000 steps.

But there is no way to measure that sort of activity.

It was a challenge because sometimes I didn’t feel like it! But I forced myself and it was fun reached the required step count every day.
