I just saw a lovely view in a place where we were able to park to photograph the blue of the sky and sea. I looked at the lighthouse and thought it was pointing the wrong way. I found the history fascinating, I had no idea of the chapel and castle!! I had to Google it, but yes it is Bass Rock. But then scenes from Les Miserables were filmed in Winchester and although I know Winchester well, I don't recall walking along and thinking "Oh, that was used in the film!".
