Thanks Peter, I worked on that framing and the couple who were considerately waiting behind me as I took it were exclaiming that they liked me view and were going to take the shot.

I told them to be sure they stood in the perfect position to include the tower and the gun.

If I had more time I would worked on a shot with just the gun through the arch.

Guns are a product of history and it is interesting to see how armaments have developed over time.

Man’s inhumanity to man – hopefully the human race will one day see sense.
