Our summer was a bit rainy but the last few weeks have been rather warm with no rain. The trees have got a little parched and shed some of their leaves when this happens the autumn shedding of leaves seems to come more quickly.

for us, this is yet another one of those dry summers, CP. grass is yellow almost all around.

  3. Nice thought, CP. It feels autumnal, temperature-wise, in our little patch of the planet – but it’s VERY wet – hoping for some September sun and looking forward to the colours changing… Aren’t seasons wonderful!

The temperature here is still summerish. I am convinced we will have an Indian Summer in September, we often do.

I love the changing colours of autumn.

  4. Oh I saw some conkers in my local park just the other day.
They were not ripe yet, but autumn is definitely on its way. :)
