On 4th December, I completed my 1000 miles for 2019. I decided then that I would try to complete my personal pledge to walk 1000 miles in 365 days starting from 1st March which was when I first encountered #walk1000miles. I have today completed that pledge and have walked 1000 miles from the 1st March – 31 December 2019.
Yesterday I walked around my local pathways for the last time in 2019.
I am now ready for #walk1000miles 2020…
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.
Happy New Year!
So many Canada geese, could have had one for Christmas.
Happy New Year LC.
I think I will stick with Turkey as a Christmas lunch option
Since we are probably of the same age, I KNOW what sort of commitment that was! I am therefore full of awe (and anxiety). The best thing about walking is that it gives you endless opportunities for good stories and photos
Happy, healthy New Year.
Happy New Year Hels xx
The challenge is not intended to cause anxiety, the challenge is there to promote health, happiness and wellbeing. The challenge is encouraging us to do more than we did before and we can set our own realistic goals. I didn’t announce my stretch challenge because if I had not met it I would have felt stressed if something got in the way and stopped me from achieving that goal. By not announcing it I felt the buzz and happiness of trying to achieve it and would still have a positive feeling even if I didn’t quite make my goal.
Congraduation. Now you got me wonder how many miles I did in 2019
Thanks Dora. The challenge is all about walking more, getting fitter, happier and healthier. Becoming our ‘best ME’
Happy New Year! Hope 2020 is filled with many blessings.
Happy New Year to you too xx
