A couple of days ago a local lady member of the #walk1000miles challenge led a fascinating history walk around Telford Town Park and beyond, not to mention the secret watery delights hidden just out of sight.

I enjoyed meeting my fellow Badgers (participants of the #walk1000miles challenge) and it was an added bonus to have a mini reunion with two of my former work colleagues.

A walk with your fellow Badgers!! How delightful, Cherry. Good for you.

    • CherryPie says:

In this context ‘Badgers’ means people who are wearing the #walk1000miles badge on their walks to show that they are taking part in the challenge :-)

Walking in a group is always fun. There are always people that relate to you and you share the same interest. With walking you see a lot. Great pictures.

that seems to have been quite a walk, CherryPie. and it is always a pleasure to meet old acquaintances. the dog is busy investigating something along the path :P

    • CherryPie says:

There were two dogs on the walk and they were both delightful :-)

I enjoyed meeting new friends as much as I enjoyed my unexpected encounter with old friends :-)

    No, not trees.
    (Drum roll, please)
    Trolley! Ha…

    • CherryPie says:

Yes, some idiot threw a trolley into the water.

What you can’t see from my photo is that the lower level of the waterfall is surrounded by railings. So someone had to pick up the trolley and throw it over the railing. Not to mention that the shopping center is quite a distance away so it was deliberately taken or should that be stolen?
