Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet.

  1. Funnily enough, it rained when I was last in York. We’d been in York Minster and were just coming out of the gift shop when it absolutely tipped it down. We stayed in the doorway with others but it just didn’t seem to be stopping. We ended up rushing down the street and into an antique shop for a while.

I was lucky with the rain on my walk. It was gentle and didn’t spoil the walk.

Although I would have preferred it if the sun had put its hat on!

The rain it raineth every day
Upon the just and unjust fella,
But on the just the most, because
The unjust’s got the justs’ umbrella!

I visited York many years ago and I seem to remember we had good weather.

In my part of the UK yesterday’s weather was not good. Umbrella’s, boots, rain hoods etc were all needed … but the young were enjoying jumping in puddles, which always makes me smile :)

    All the best Jan

I am always up for an adventure in the rain if I have a companion to accompany me.

I always more reluctant to venture out for a solo walk in the rain.
