I like the idea of mixing sauces rather than buying them pre prepared :-)

Call me next time.
I know how to make authentic teriyaki sauce.
It's simple you just need soya sauce, mirin and sugar (1:1:1).
Use white wine if you can find mirin.

I think the find dining might have gone cold by the time it reached you!

There is a Scottish connection in my family tree on my Fathers side but I have not been able to trace the line back.

My great great great grandmother (a Frazer) was born in Sandsend Yorkshire. Many years ago when I was doing the research I was in contact with a gentleman that was also trying to establish the Sandsend Frazer connection back to its Scottish roots.

Neither of us were able to trace the origin of the Sandsend Frazers.

My Aunt always talked about the Scottish connection. I will have a look to see if she has any additional notes in her family history research.

I want a Chez Nous meal via Deliveroo. I suppose it's rather a long way for them to cycle up to Perthshire though. By the way, looking at your photo in the previous post prompts me to ask if you have any known relatives in Penicuik, Scotland? I ask because you look almost identical to my wife's sister in law, who comes from there, and from a long line of Penicuik area ancestors. The similarity is uncanny. Perhaps you will be eligible for a Scottish passport, come independence :)
