I always think of poor Edward II whenever I see pictures of Berkeley Castle

What is Mr C pondering in the marble hall?
I dreamt I dwelt in marble halls? Perhaps.
I have no idea but whatever it was it took forever…
When he eventually moved from his position several people entered the hall. Despite restricted entry due to Covid-19 I didn’t get my opportunity to photograph the hall without people in it!
