You would love the mosaics in the museum in Cirencester.

In the hotel there was a glass panel in the floor showing off some roman mosaics.

I have never been to Cirencester.
But I always got this place confused with another place that I have actually been to,
Silchester.

Yes, I have to visit all towns end with -chester in England one day.
Chester in Cheshire would be a good start!
Have you noticed that the letter H is missing in Cirencester? I wonder why…

I have only ever visited the cafe at Fladbury. Maybe next time we need to explore a bit further.

My TomTom SatNav is great for choosing lovely routes, routes we would never have found if we mapped it for ourselves. The SatNav in Mr C’s car is terrible at mapping an optimum route and takes us off on unnecessary and lengthy detours. We never use it apart from turning on the map (without navigation instructions) to see where we are.

Fladbury is lovely – although we missed the cafe!! The hotel looks and sounds delightful. There was an hour’s delay on the M5 by Worcester last Monday and we left early to cut across country and then ended up getting lost! Thank goodness for SatNavs which come to the rescue! Look forward to hearing more of your holiday.
