Many many years ago I was confirmed into the Christian faith by the Bishop of Lichfield. If I lived in Cheshire, which borders Shropshire I would be more closely linked to Chester, Birkenhead and Stockport. Interesting? :-) Lichfield Cathedral maybe near to Birmingham but it’s Diocese covers; Shropshire, Stoke on Trent, Lichfield and Walsall.

Many many years ago I was confirmed into the Christian faith by the Bishop of Lichfield.

If I lived in Cheshire, which borders Shropshire I would be more closely linked to Chester, Birkenhead and Stockport.
