I actually came across a similar yet slightly less ornate Penfold Victorian era postbox in Haslemere, Surrey. It's of the same colour too. Unlike the one shown in your photo, the one in Haslemere is still a working postbox. How are is that?! Haslemere is like a hidden gem in Surrey. Go and explore it. You are not going to believe this!?
I actually came across a similar yet slightly less ornate Penfold Victorian era postbox in Haslemere, Surrey. It’s of the same colour too.
