And I still remember that peacock. Not sure about the spitfire though. I was in Birmingham just last month, oh I mean December 2023. Their museum and gallery were closed too. I am fascinated by those cup and ring marked stones. Always good to see items from the Staffordshire Hoard and as you say the gallery in BMAG is superb. I think the museum is still closed although there is a good exhibition coming up at the Gas Hall called Victorian Radicals. Looks a wonderful museum.
