The leaves reached their autumn colours later this year and are only just starting to fall properly. My patio rose bloomed late and it has flowers (and buds) even now, it usually stops flowering the end of August/begining of September. The trees changed this year, but it was very brief, then went to brown due to lack of rain (thus your greenery, I guess) - but even when we've had good summer rain, by October, things are rarely still that green!
