When I awoke on Christmas morning I was treated to a beautiful sunrise glowing through one of our bedroom windows. I tried to photograph the sunrise through the bedroom window but the sun was so bright that it caused too many reflections on the glass. I did however manage to capture the sunny glow through the windows next to the front door. By the time I had got dressed the sunshine had become obscured by clouds.

I enjoyed ‘my gift’ of sunny light on Christmas morning, it was a delight

I have delved way back into my Flickr archives for this photograph taken from the Wrekin.  It was taken on a nice morning walk with colleauges and friends.

Unfortunately I am unable to upload any photographs today due to a problem with my internet connection. It is slower than dial up!! Originally I thought it was my PC that was the problem because outlook kept freezing in ’send and receive’ mode and webpages wouldn’t load and kept resetting and giving me error messages.

I thought my laptop was working fine but when I tried to upload photos I realised that it too was slow, just not timing out…

On the plus side it was a lovely sunny day here. Just the thing for a BBQ and a glass of wine after work. This was followed by me sitting on the patio reading and soaking up the last rays of the sun before it dropped too chilly and I had to come inside.

Hopefully on the internet front, normal service will be resumed as soon as possible…

I am onto a bit of a roll with my 100 hundred reasons to be glad.  I am keen to get the project finished so I can start on the one I had planned for 2011.  So please bear with me if you can

I do have a few book reviews planned, I may squeeze one in this week or maybe you will have to wait until next week.  My weekend is going to be busy again due to a family birthday
