The exterior is decorated with mosaics, alternated with marble and coloured stone.<br />
The interior is characterized by frescoes and precious paintings, together with a solid wood iconostasis that separates the presbytery and is the keeper of very valuable icons.<br />
The Church contains a silver candelabra donated by the future Tsar, Paul I, during a visit to Trieste in 1772.</p>
