The hotel breakfast was as good as I remembered it was on my last visit to the hotel.  The day was looking a little dull with the possibility of rain so we opted to visit the National Railway Museum rather than do anything that involved being outside.  We took a cab ride there, so we arrived just before it opened.  We spent several hours there before walking back into York and around the York gardens.

We had an evening meal in The Blue Bicycle which exceeded expectations.  We were seated downstairs where there was a lovely atlmoshpere, the food was excellent and there was live music to accompany the meal. A good evening was had by all.
