I had to walk down these steps very slowly because the rain and fallen leaves had made them very slippery. I didn’t want to miss my footing because it was a long way to fall if I did!!  By the time I had got to the bottom of the steps my knees had become rather wobbly….  It was nearly lunch time and that was the perfect excuse for me sit down for a while and let them recover
