(4) He was a Tailors Cutter on 3 Jan 1923. (4) He died on 21 Oct 1938.(10) He resided High Street on 21 Oct 1938 in Skelton. On the death of Elizabeth he went to live with his step grand daughter Elizabeth Stokoe (Betty) and her husband Robert at Skelton. He was married to Elizabeth NICHOLSON on 17 Apr 1892 in Parish Church of St Paul, Stockton on Tees, Durham. (8) She was a widow when she married Albert, she was previously married to Ralph Stokoe. This family is shown on a separate tree.

Witnesses to the marriage were Edward Wood and Elizabeth Ann Wood.

At the time of her marriage her father was deceased.

Elizabeth was Albert's landlady after she was widowed.

Elizabeth NICHOLSON was born on 2 Jan 1860 in North Seaton, Northumberland.(11) (12)(9) The 1901 Census states that she was born in Blythe, Northumberland and the 1881 Census states that she was born in North Seaton, Northumberland. She resided 45 Hartington Street on 3 Apr 1881 in Gateshead, Durham. (11) She resided 29 Grove Street on 17 Apr 1892 in Stockton, Durham. (8) She resided 7 Victoria Terrace on 31 Mar 1901 in Loftus, Cleveland.(9) She resided 5 Lumley Street on 3 Jan 1923 in Loftus, Yorkshire. (4) She died on 26 Aug 1933 in 5 Lumley Street, Loftus, Yorkshire. (12)(10) She was brought up by her grand mother when her mother married again. She went into service aged 9.

There is only one birth entry in the GRO register for the registration district of Morpeth (which covers North Seaton which is shown as Elizabeth's birth place on the 1881 census). This shows that Elizabeth was born on 2 Jan 1860 in Barrington Colliery, Bedlington. This certificate shows the father as Henry and the mother as Frances formerly Robinson. Further information is needed to establish wether this is the correct birth entry. Children were:
