Harry JEFFERSON⁽²¹⁾ was born in 1890 in Grosmont, Yorkshire.^{(21) (3)} He resided 13 Front Row on 31 Mar 1901 in Furnace Cottages, Loftus, Skinningrove, Cleveland.⁽³⁾ He was buried in 1942 in Brotton Cemetery, Brotton, York.^{(21) (22)} He died on 12 Oct 1942. ⁽²²⁾ In the 1940's he shot his wife and then himself. The inquest blamed blood clots caused by the shooting incident during WW2.

Was in the army in WW1 and served for some time in Egypt.

In WW2 he was in the home guard and got shot in the face with blanks and was blinded for a time.
