You might recall my recent post ‘The Strangeness of Cats‘ showing one of the cats that regularly visits my garden, albeit in a strange place on that occasion. The other cat that regularly visits my garden quite often sits in quite a different location in my garden.
This black and white cat is often sitting on the opposite side of the road meowing to me as I arrive home
If I were a cat, I’d take that lovely blue table as my spot to relax too.
That is the part of the garden that I like to sit in although I prefer the chairs to the table.
I to have a black and white cat. But I don’t have a table and chairs
I am not sure where the cat lives but it likes to visit our garden.
Your “space” much have a good vibe to it, Cherry, so congratulations!
Next door used to have cats and both of them liked sitting in our garden. They each had their special place
Oh dear this view is lovely!!!
thank you for sharing it with us !
here only birds and squirrels visit my garden most often
We have birds too and in the summer the occasional bat. A squirrel used to steal the bird food from next doors garden but I haven’t seen it for a while.
Ha ha… You can be the new cat lady in your neighbourhood!
If you treat the cats good, they might bring you a dead bird or mouse to “thank you” in return.
That’s what cats do!
The one that was up the tree did that last summer. It managed to dislodge a baby bird out of its nest and left in on our driveway. I wasn’t impressed!!
Ha ha… You should consider to get some cat repellents.
Perhaps, not
Perhaps it’s disorientated.
Cats seem to like our garden for some reason.
Do you think he would like to move in? My late mother used to “kidnap” the neighbours’ cats; one stayed for around 2 years until my parents moved and the cat presumably did not like the new house and returned to its original owner!
I am not sure but one of next doors cats used to sneak into the house when you weren’t looking.
So cute! Occasionally my next door neighbour’s cat welcomes me home from work (where as my two aren’t always bothered!).
Our garden seems to attract most of the local cats
Cats as cats can.
Cats think they rule
You misunderstand the ownership of the situation: the cat understands that you live in a house in one of its gardens.
So you think the newly arrived cat is making a takeover bid?
Cats will sometimes agree among themselves to share the various gardens that they own, while tolerating the human squatters provided they give the cats some attention, garden furniture, trees, and perhaps food.
Hmm… Which came first… The cat or me
