So, something else now on my Bucket List, Cherry. I think we will need to come live with you for half a year so you can take us to all my favorite places of yours. HA!
That would be fun, I need to clear out my spare room for visitors
What super gardens – you do visit some great places. Have been to York but only for the day so only had time for the Minster and the Viking Centre.
There are so many things to see in York, it is well worth a weekend there. We missed out on some of the things that we would have liked to see.
If you do get to visit again I recommend a walk around the walls. The views are fantastic.
No stone left turned. Non-rolling stones gather moss.
Sadly the stones were turned. After the dissolution of the monasteries St. Mary’s was abandoned and eventually destroyed during military conflict.
