The stained glass windows and painted ceiling patterns are indeed beautiful. 15th century architects and artists knew what they were doing!
This is a wonderful place to visit. No wonder it was promoted locally as one of the ‘must see’ places.
What a gorgeous Minster. Love the Rose window and the ceiling
You would love this church
I didn’t know the seat had a mouse until after we had visited!
Such a beautiful church!
I especially like their painted ceiling.
Kinda reminded me of St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle.
It is 40 years since I visited Windsor Castle and the details of what I saw have faded over time…
15th century ? Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how nicely cared and kept by authorities !
inside views are just CAPTIVATING!!!!!!!!!!
these painted colorful windows seem a permanent part of old churches
truly beautiful!
Over the years many these building fell into decay and then were restored to their former glory and the buildings are now maintained.
I love stained glass windows. Some of the windows are old and original and some are new and together they tell a story of love and witness.
