This was taken in Burton Agnes Garden, which is Elizabethan in style.
Since 1990 the family have been involved in a major redevelopment of the garden. The garden has many different garden rooms showing different themes and colours. The aim was to make it a garden that all the family can enjoy and several giant sized board games were added, one of which can be seen in previous post.

That is a wonderful picture of the African Daisy – I love this one when it opens with its curled petals. It has a unique shape. The Burton Agnes house and garden looks very interesting. It looks very enjoyable.
Thanks for identifying it for me, I was wondering what it was. Burton Agnes is a really interesting place to visit
Aren’t the petals interesting, nothing really symmetrical in nature?
Happy weekend to you Cherie.

Beautiful. I was going to ask the name of it, but I see one of your previous commenters (is that a word?) has already answered that for me
I am so glad my previous commenter identified the flower Mr C threw all the labels away before I had chance to identify.
Nice entry! Beautiful flower.
