Lovely photo. I am glad we don’t have the frost right now.
We did have a little frost this morning, but not anywhere near as much as there is in this photo…
Now that’s a gem of a photo!
By the way Cherie, do you know your profile link leads to your old blog rather than this one? I clicked on your comment at my place to see what you were up to here, and was led to your old place instead, although it does then have a link to here. A bit of a roundabout journey though
I will investigate the best way to leave comments on blogger blogs
I think I have got into a habit of using my blogger profile because it was the best option when I moved to my new blog. I think blogger has more options available to me now so I need to experiment
I like all 100 of your reasons CherryPie….the crystals on the plant turns the whole thing to magic….great use of light and DOF here….peter:)
I think that this is my first visit and i will be back…..i like being glad:D
Thanks for dropping by
I am glad you enjoyed the photo and thanks for you positive comments
Again lovely. Thanks, CP.
Thanks Calum
still a beautiful photo
Thanks Sally
Super capture of the individual ice crystals – very pretty Cherie.
I found the crystals quite amazing
We have had spectacular frosts here, crisp, beautiful and bracing. Real “glad to be alive” mornings.
I do so love frosty mornings
Red goes so well with green, thinkest thou not?
Indeed. have always profoundly disagreed with the saying “Red and green should never be seen except when worn by an Irish queen.” I love red with green and I am neither Irish nor a queen, but perhaps I just have bad taste (as must holly bushes, rowan trees, cherry trees, raspberry bushes, strawberry plants, woodpeckers?… the list goes on…).
I love to wear red and green together, I think they look quite good
Or maybe I just have bad taste and look a disaster
Well you’ve got more chance of passing yourself off as an Irish Queen than I have. (I hope).
Do I get to wear a gold crown? Do you think I could fool the public for at least one day?
Maybe I should just remain a princess in waiting…. Hmm! maybe I am just a bit to old for princess ‘in waiting’ or otherwise
The pictures I found on the web depict a nice red crown and a green gown. Ideal
I think the last Irish Queen reigned many hundreds of years ago so expect your palace to be in a state of some disrepair (and your King too).
What a beautiful photo. It would make a lovely Christmas card.
I will bear that in mind for my Christmas cards later this year. I always make my own and in recent years have been using my photos on them too.
So pretty!!! There IS some color around even in winter. Nice photo.
You just have to look out for those colours
