Looks like you’re hanging in there, Cherie. Well done to you.

My comment just disappeared. Trying again…Good for you to remain faithful to the program. After many years, I still record my weight every week. If I put one pound, I lose it the next week. What matters is that I never had again to take drastic measures to lose 15-20 lbs. I had been taught to control my eating habits.
You’re doing well, Cherie. And you look fantastic.

Hmmm… I suggest you leave Weight Watchers (who have a business model that makes make more money out of their failures than their successes), keep using the graph, forget “points”, count calories and eat less and move more; but people will think I am just being rude, unlike the kind folk who say “well done” for following a “weight loss” programme that leaves you heavier than you were six months ago. Maybe I’m just feeling smug because I’ve lost half a stone in those six months.

The problem isn’t with the weight loss model, it is to do with state of mind and life issues. My weight is the same as it was 6 months ago (fluctuating week to week, no overall gain). If I hadn’t been been observing a plan or counting points (it doesn’t matter which model I choose to follow) I know I would be back to where I was at the start of the graph.

Well done on your weight loss, you should feel good about your result. You have been able to keep on track and get closer to your goal.
