Gorgeous one!! simply beautiful.
Thanks Mar
Lovely. That colour is striking!
There is just something about the colour of a foxglove.
One perfect flower! Love it.
Glad you like it
Just one plant but there are so many flowers on it!
Lots of chances for pollination
I love foxgloves. My mum calls them fairy thimbles (timbles in her still very Irish accent!)
Just the thought of her saying that makes me smile
There’s something magical about foxgloves, isn’t there? I’ve tried to grow them in my (Arkansas) cottage garden several times, but they never survive. Pity!
@jams: Love the “fairy thimbles”!

We are lucky, there are a lot of them over here. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.
Foxgloves in my Granny’s garden taught me an important lesson, when I was aged about four: Don’t go sticking your fingers into places without caution. I didn’t see the big bee until after it had stung me. Much tears (for both me and bee, I suppose). Thanks for the memory.
I am thinking that perhaps you didn’t really want to be remembering that…
That’s one heck of a flower.
Glad you like it Alice
Very nice. Haven’t seen a foxglove in real life for a while.
I have seen quite a few of them lately, but thinking about it they were all up north.
I’ve always liked foxgloves but don’t have any yet. But that would look great in my hodgepodge flower bed. I have name for my flowerbeds. Coffee is on.
It sounds like they would look lovely in your garden
