Middle one enters the soul.
I am glad you like it. I am rather fond of that one myself
I have to agree – but who wants rain when you are on a hol?
Even with a promise of a glimpse of sunshine between those grey clouds.
The rain, however, does wash off all that dust from the foliage,
and leaves everything looking fresh and clean, especially at this dry end of summer. I like September however – it is my favourite month.
Big fat berries, rosy ripe apples, even mushrooms popping up here and there. Yes, the mellow fruitfulness of September.
It had already stopped raining for the day and the rest of the day was gloriously sunny. As you say everything was looking fresh and green. I love it when it is like that.
Yes Autumn is one of my favourite months
I don’t have a macro at the moment but I always find that 18 or 24mm can give a great alternative perspective.
When I bought my camera last year, it was the one lens I knew I wanted to have because the close up and DoF was the area of photography I wanted to explore more. Eventually I got used to the fact it would be expensive and got it anyway.
I have been taking it through it’s paces for macro shots, portrait shots and experimenting with landscape shots too. I love how vivid the colours are with this lens.
Another sheer delight Cherie!
Thanks Jams, that is what Leica does for you
Leica or not Leica: Cameras like rainfall and the minutes after.
Beautiful landscape, CherryPie. Very atmospheric.
Ah yes, all cameras love the few moments after rainfall as do one and everyone even without cameras.
I am glad you enjoyed the landscapes
Aaah..but you had sunshine after your morning rain!! We’ve had 3 continuous days of torrential downpour. And – I do somehow love it (as strange as it sounds!!).
I do quite like the rain myself, but I am glad it cleared up on this occasion. I gave chance to get out and about and visit some interesting places.
Really nice photos. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie
Thanks
I hope you have a great weekend too.
one word says it all for me…. “lush” x
That does sum up the colour of the green
I’m like Marcie…I LOVE the rain, especially the downpours. I also love the way the sun shines on the road in that middle image!
Thanks Ginnie
I love lying in bed listening to the rain falling.
Oh… that’s actually a word to describe that.
It’s “petrichor”.
I had to look that up
I had never heard of that word before. You learn something new every day.
I do like the clarity in these delightful landscapes.
Thank you Claire
Yes, I agree .. it’s always so beautiful after a rainfall and your photos are outstanding!
Thanks MM
Such a beautiful sight. Still having lots of sunshine here in B.C, and knowing the rains will soon come makes me happy.
Where I live there had been a drought for several weeks so it was lovely to see the rain whilst I was away
I love it all! The rain through your windows…The sun after the rain…Your photos are splendid. They give me the feeling of being there and enjoying the hours with you. Thank you!
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed the thought of spending some hours with me in such a beautiful place
