      Strangely it was. A bit of calm in the middle of a theme park. The Gardens are even more peaceful, apart from the occasional rowdy idiot…

    Lovely as ever. Are there any stately homes you’ve never visited? A wish list? Seems to me you must have pretty much everything covered, in England at least. I am not a stately home visitor, but I do enjoy your visits.

      This was a theme park visit, which I dislike! I was making the most of my visit by enjoying the grounds and the gardens. On this occasion I didn’t go into any of the buildings…

    To post photos like this from a place I have avoided for years with visitors comments like this … Brilliant, you should have saved this one for April 1st, it gave me a great :-)

      I obviously had the knack of hiding the theme park from view ;-) If I had taken a video I the screams in places might have given the game away ;-)
