It’s so nice to come here and look on all your beautiful architectural images. Love old buildings like this.
Thanks Frida, I am glad you are enjoying them
It’s great that these walls have survived so well. I wish more of London’s wall survived
It is a shame that the London walls are not more in tact. Chester is another good place to experience town walls.
I would love to come and have a walk with you on those town walls
I would find that very enjoyable
Though not exactly the same, you’d love our citadel walls, Cherry, where I walk almost every day. I love the age of such places as this!
I am sure I would enjoy your citadel walls just as much
I like how you capture this, feels a bit like beeing there. Thanks!
Thanks Mats, I am glad I gave you a feel for the place
one of life’s little pleasures is to take a stroll right around the town walls of York on a pleasant summer evening
It is certainly a pleasure walking around the walls. There are two parts of them that I especially enjoy
York is on my list as a place to visit for a weekend. I can’t wait.
You will love it and I can recommend the hotel that I stayed in
Love the shadow on the fist picture. Such an interesting city with so much preserved. Like to see it from your viewpoint.
I think we would have fun if we visited together
It’s a lovely walk on the wall around the back of The Minster as are your images with chimney pot shadow and vanishing point
There are two particular bits of the wall I like to walk on. This is one of them.
